Current season
Compare active quarterbacks using the live 2026 year-to-date feed through Week 1. This uses the same short-sample calibration as the Current Season leaderboard and stays regular-season only.
Career
Use the full body of work when longevity and sustained excellence are part of the question. Career mode keeps the modest championship and optional postseason résumé adjustments used on All-Time.
Season-based Prime
Choose 3, 5, 7 or 10 scored seasons. Prime remains one continuous career stretch, can bridge a limited number of objectively shortened seasons, and leaves résumé bonuses out.
Equal-game spans
Choose 50 or 100 games to compare equal-sized samples. Historical data is season-level, so the final boundary season is prorated to the exact target rather than pretending every individual game is available.
Playoffs
When enabled, available detailed postseason production is folded into historical comparisons. Career also gets the existing modest postseason résumé treatment; Prime and game-span modes remain performance-focused.
HOW TO READ A COMPARISON
Current form, career value, prime value and equal-game value answer different questions.
Career mode rewards the whole body of work
Full Career uses the same framework as the All-Time leaderboard. Each season is scored first, small samples are protected before they can carry full weight, and the resulting season performances are combined with diminishing-return credit for sustained excellence. Championship and postseason résumé adjustments remain deliberately modest.
Prime mode isolates sustained peak play
Prime searches each career for the strongest continuous stretch containing the selected number of eligible scored seasons. The same length is applied to every quarterback. Championship and postseason résumé bonuses are excluded so the result describes the quality of the stretch itself.
Game-span mode equalizes sample size
A 50- or 100-game span is useful when career lengths differ dramatically. Because the historical database stores season totals rather than complete game logs for every era, QB Scorecard searches from season boundaries and prorates only the final boundary season to hit the requested game count exactly. It is an equal-game approximation, not a claim that the literal best individual 50 or 100 games were identified.
The metrics remain inspectable
The strongest displayed value is highlighted, but not every category has equal importance inside QOPI. Net production, touchdowns, turnovers, contextual accuracy, starter results and clutch performance each describe part of quarterback performance. The comparison is designed to expose those differences rather than hide them behind a single score.
